The 80/20 Rules
Over the years, I’ve read thousands of books and tens of thousands of articles. I have worked as a consultant, speaker, or trainer for more than 1,000 businesses in 45 countries.
I have trained more than 4 million people and created many thousands of millionaires in entrepreneurship, sales, and business management.
And every person who writes or phones me says that, once they understood the principle of cause and effect in their businesses, success followed soon after.
You have heard of the 80/20 rule, the Pareto Principle.
This rule, which dates back to 1906, says that 20 percent of your activities will account for 80 percent of your results, 20 percent of your products will yield 80 percent of your sales and 80 percent of your profits, and 20 percent of your customers will buy 80 percent of your products and services.
